Hi, I'm kent and this is the very first blog i have after quite some time and I hope to meet everyone that will share their life experiences with me and to teach one another every aspect of life, have a good life everyone ^^

Life~

Carpe diem! Simply means live life to the fullest. What for? For life is so fragile that it ends up as death with no notice, which happens to be my greatest fear. I believe in no life after death, a typical atheist, and so, the only chance for me to rejoice, to depress, to thrill, to bore, to believe and to doubt is while I am alive.


Many blame other parties for their own misfortunes in life. Some blame God for their poverty and some blame their parents for their sufferings. Some among the poor and needy blame God for not giving them equal wealth as others do, some of the disabled community blame their parents for giving them a handicapped feature and most if not all, would have no hard time finding someone to blame, just to give themselves excuses time after time.


True, time has never been fair. Some are born with a silver spoon in their mouth when some are born physically deformed. From a typical perspective, it is perceived that the former is better off than the latter.



If the perception is true, why do some disabled individuals live a happier life, enjoying all the support and care from family and friends when compared to a famously known rich individual who has no other reason to rejoice over his life besides his wealth?


Again, life is never fair. Even if we are often on the trying times of life, it is all up to our thoughts, perception, attitude and action that could lead us to a better eventuality from any terrible beginning in life. There are many handicapped individuals who achieved and inspired even those absolutely normal people with their success in academics, sports and business.



At the same time, there are also many rich and famous who are nothing more than the unbelievable wealth they accumulated for their great great grandchildren whose name they do not yet and will be forgotten as soon as the wealth consumed.


It can be easily understood that no matter how terrible our lives were to begin with, it is us to decide our destinies. Do not give ourselves excuses to be cowardly losers in life but give ourselves the faith and courage to overcome humps and bumps in life.



We should never stop climbing up the wall of obstacles, one after another, till the day we jump off one of those countless walls and reach the desired state of contentment and happiness in life. 'Gambateh, Jia You'
